Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke, is one of the richest persons in the world. According to Forbes, his real-time net worth is US$8.5 billion. He also owns Los Angeles' NFL team, LA Rams, which is performing really good this season, having already qualified for the NFL playoffs.

Kroenke is also building a new stadium for Rams in LA, the estimated construction cost of this new stadium will be US$4.963 billion.

Despite not winning the EPL in the last 14 years, Kroenke's other club, Arsenal, are among the richest and most popular clubs in the footballing world.

Arsenal's manager, Unai Emery, has said that he will not be given funds, and Arsenal can only make loan signings in January.

Lack of funds for transfers was the case during Arsene Wenger's tenure as well, and he was repeatedly criticised by Arsenal fans for the lack of transfers.

It's nearly impossible to blame Wenger for Arsenal's transfer woes during his tenure, especially when Emery is now facing the same issues. But Wenger never stood up to the owners, who were the main reason for Arsenal's lack of transfer activity, and that's what angered most fans.

Stan Kroenke is the majority owner of Arsenal, and most fans blame him for the lack of transfers. Arsenal's matchday ticket price is the most expensive among EPL clubs, so it's not difficult to understand why the fans expect more from their team.

For some fans, Alisher Usmanov, who was the second major shareholder of Arsenal, was their big hope, but the hope was dashed when Kroenke bought out the shares of Usmanov last year.

Arsenal are a well-run club in terms of finance, but on-field success has been lacking in the last 14 years. Their competitors - Man City, Chelsea, Man United, and now Liverpool are all spending big in the transfer market.

Unai Emery's Arsenal have started well, but they are still far behind the likes of Man City and Liverpool, as proven by their 5-1 thrashing by Liverpool. Stan Kroenke will have to spend big to overhaul the squad, otherwise, Emery will be the next Wenger.

Kroenke's LA Rams are enjoying a new period of success, Arsenal will have to do the same for their fans.
