One player frequently mentioned is Christian Pulisic and latest reports from Germany claims that Dortmund have slapped a fee of £65 million for the 20-year-old. Pulisic has developed as a key player for both club and country since his breakout season two years ago.
His performances have drawn the attention of several European bigwigs with Real Madrid reportedly considering the youngster as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bayern Munich are also monitoring the player’s situation and have a good relationship with Dortmund having signed several high profile players from the club. Chelsea are considered outside favourites for the player but the Blues have the financial power and prestige to capture one o Europe’s bright talent.
Pulisic is known for his pace, footwork and ability to use both feet which would be a useful addition to the Stamford Bridge outfit. Also, £65 million represents a fair amount in the transfer market nowadays and he still has a long future ahead.
His signing if completed would be the most exciting signing since the arrival of Eden Hazard from Lille 6 seasons ago.
