Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera is keen on extending the terms of his contract at Old Trafford.
The midfielder is raring to hit his 200 games playing for the Mancunians, after entering the last run on his contract this season.

Thee 29-year-old praised the warm crowd at the Theatre of Dreams and admitted the affection towards him from the fans ” couldn’t be better or bigger.”

Reports suggest the Spain international is willing to tie himself down at the club.

The 29-year-old was snapped up by former Dutch boss Louis van Gaal in 2014, from Athletic Bilbao, for a reported fee of 29 million pounds.

Herrera told Inside United: ” I think the manager is very happy with me, the fans are very happy with me, so that makes me really proud.”

He added: “The way the club treats me is perfect, the love the fans show for me couldn’t be better or bigger, my family is happy in Manchester, so I just try to give everything and put all my strength and effort to keep deserving to play for this club.”

The Spaniard was absent in United’s opening day 2-1 against Leicester City on Friday, after picking up a knock in a friendly playoff against Bayern Munich.
