Arsene Wenger signed on Kosclieny from French side Lorient in the summer of 2010 and the star grew to becoming arguably the best centre-back of the club in the last decade.
Although, he is currently out injured, the 32-year-old centre-back is expected to partner the Gunners new signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who joined Arsenal from Borrussia Dortmund this term, at the heart of defense.
Koscielny is expected to be back before the close of the year but his form may be affected adversely by the injury he;’s suffered.
The star signed a contract extension with Arsenal last year but he’s admitted that he is thinking about calling time on his spell with Arsenal.
“I’m under contract until June 2020. Afterwards? I’m thinking of moving on, but I do not know where,” he told Nice-Matin.
“This is not relevant anyway! I am in England, my family too. Then there will inevitably be a lot of question marks.
“The bottom line is to have health. I learned to relative because there are so many more serious things in life.”
Koscielny has featured in the excess of 300 games for Arsenal, and he’s scored 24 goals.
