Here’s what Man United have told it’s ambassadors regarding Jose Mourinho: Is the Portuguese on his way out?
And with this Jose Mourinho has come under heavy fire from the media as well as the pundits who believe the manager is just weeks away from being sacked by the club.
A large number of media houses have claimed that if United cannot get their season back on track quickly then Mourinho will be shown the door and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will be appointed in his place.
But recent reports suggest that the Manchester United management are not really thinking of sacking Jose Mourinho and instead they are all ready to back their manager – atleast for now.
Mail Online suggests that Manchester United have sent out an email to its ambassadors asking them not to say anything negative about Jose Mourinho.
United ambassadors which include the likes of Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Bryan Robson, Denis Irwin and Ji-sung Park have been urged to talk positively about their team and the manager when speaking at public forums.
This email if it is true means that the United hierarchy is trying hard not to influence Jose Mourinho with all the negative comments which in turns suggests that the club have no intentions of sacking their manager right now.
Jose Mourinho’s behaviour during the recent weeks have turned pretty sour and he has been in a constant tussle with the media during press conferences and many feel that the boss is just venting out the grudges which he holds against the United management for the failure to bring in the required players during the summer transfer window.
But whatever may be the problem, this email from Man United clearly suggests that they intend to mend their ways with the manager so that the team can get back to winning ways.
