Report: ‘He’s the weak link, Disappointing’ – Arsenal fans Via Twitter bash Arsenal star after Wolves draw

Some Arsenal fans took to social media to lash out at one of the players who featured in the clash with Wolves at the Emirates stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners went into the clash with the newly-promoted side on the back of consecutive league draws against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, which came after eleven straight victories across all competitions.

Arsenal were handed the major blow of an injury to Danny Welbeck on Thursday night as the team went on to draw 0-0 against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.

And on Sunday, there was more frustration for Unai Emery as Wolves stole an early lead. Indeed, had it not been for a fortuitous late goal from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the Gunners would have succumbed to their first defeat since August.

Featuring in Sunday’s draw was Mesut Ozil, who was back in the starting eleven after being left out of the team for the clash against Sporting Lisbon a few days earlier.
