The forward, on Monday completed his fourth loan spell away from Old Trafford to join Scottish side Aberdeen on a season-long loan.
Wilson admitted his future at Manchester United remains bleak at the moment, and has yet to speak to head coach Mourinho about it.
Wilson joined Aberdeen this summer, and believes he’s inthe right place. The 22-year-old also revealed that he’s raring to put himself in the “shop window” as he looks forward to develop his career.
Wilson has enjoyed just 20 appearances for the Red Devils, and is down the pecking order at the Manchester club.
Wilson told BT Sport: “I’ve not [spoken to Mourinho] directly but obviously he doesn’t see me in his plans for this year so the right move was to come on loan and Aberdeen was the right place.
“I want as many minutes as possible and as many goals as possible, but I am in my final year at Man United and I’m looking to put myself in the shop window. But obviously short term I want to help the team do well.”
Wilson also disclosed that he was eyeing a move back to United and believes playing for second place finishers from last season Scottish League Aberdeen, will get the job done.
