'Better than Cannavaro'- These Arsenal fans Via Twitter believe this key man should be starting Subsequent Game

Yesterday saw Arsenal record a convincing 2-0 over Everton at The Emirates as both members of the club’s star duo, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, found the net in the second half. However, it was another man who the fans have been talking about as Rob Holding looked well in control after coming off the bench to replace the injured Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

Rob Holding, making just his second appearance of the season, looked well in control against Marco Silva’s Everton and after his strong performance at the back, he’ll be looking to start on Wednesday against Brentford. The young defender made his first outing of the campaign last week when he played the full 90 against Vorskla in the Europa League and despite the fact they conceded two goals, the youngster looked assured throughout.

Yesterday’s fixture saw him afforded his chance when Sokratis went off nursing an injury. The Greek stopper apparently suffered a dead leg when he fouled Theo Walcott around the 30-minute mark and he couldn’t make it to half-time with the 23-year-old Holding coming on instead. The fans loved seeing Holding and will be keen for him to start next weekend against Watford after his superb performance against Everton.

The Gunners are keen to see more of Holding and will hope he can start against Brentford and then Watford in the week and next weekend.
