Arsenal News: Unai Emery receives bad news ahead of their match against Manchester United

Unai Emery’s Arsenal team will on Wednesday face Manchester United but the gunners have however received some good news ahead of this game.

Arsenal is now in the Premier League top four after defeating Tottenham Hotspur and their next opponent is Manchester United. Their match against the Red Devils will be played on Wednesday at the Old Trafford and it’s been a long time since the gunners last won a game there so it will be interesting to see if they will be able to do it under their boss.

The gunners have however received some bad news ahead of their game against Manchester United as its confirmed that Granit Xhaka will miss that game because of suspension after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season yesterday when they took on Tottenham Hotspur.

It is a huge blow for the gunners because the Swiss midfielder has been impressive for the gunners this season even though the fans believe that he is at times responsible for goals his team concedes but nevertheless, Granit Xhaka is a very strong player and is tall enough to stop aerial balls in the midfield, so he will be greatly missed in their match against Manchester United.

Even though Manchester United is currently off form but they always step up their performance when facing the gunners as witnessed in the past when their youthful team defeated the North Londoners. Granit Xhaka is a great midfielder but his playing style is very rough and this has costed him because he will now miss their game against the Red Devils.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will now have to pair Lucas Torreira with a new midfielder but most people believe that he will use Matteo Guendouzi because he likes him but it might be a bad idea since the young Frenchman is weak and wouldn’t cope with strong players like Paul Pogba. A better replacement for Xhaka will be Aaron Ramsey because he is good in the central midfield position.
