Bid tabled: Chelsea to agree deal for Liverpool prime target

Chelsea have jumped rivals in tabling an official bid for Dortmund’s star Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic has been a long-term interest for the Blues. It is understood Chelsea’s interest in the attacker has really climbed in recent weeks.

Dortmund slapped a heavy price tag on the player that is in the region of 70 million pounds.

This has had suitors on the balls of their feet  who are strongly keen on nabbing the rising talent.

Chelsea have an aging frontline and playmaker Eden Hazard is still angling for a summer move.

Hazard has refused to put pen to paper. He is inclined to join Los Blancos in the summer, despite no official bid tabled for his services yet.

Pulisic is in the frame of Sarri’s plans for Chelsea’s long-term attacking fashion.

Liverpool has been credited with interest in the star, who has admitted he is attracted to the lure of the Premier League.

Chelsea have already lodged a bid according to talks bandying about in the media. But their price fee fell below Dortmund’s expectations. It is unlikely the German outfit will try and argue down the steep fee for Pulisic.

While Chelsea’s interest in the star is unabated, Anfield has been touted as Pulisic destination if he finally leaves.
