Mesut has not turned out for the Gunners in the Premier League since Boxing Day and was left out of the squad for Saturday’s match with West Ham United in spite of being available following a slight knee issue.

The German star only signed a new £350,000-per-week deal with the north London heavyweights last year and his contract at the Emirates Stadium will run until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Ozil apparently does not fit into Unai Emery’s style of football though and according to the Daily Mail, the new Gunners boss wants the club to find an exit route for the attacking midfielder before the end of the month.
However, the same report has suggested that the Gunners are ‘still to receive credible interest’ in Mesut Ozil with the star is subject of interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 30-year-old star has scored 41 times and provided 73 assists in 212 appearances for Arsenal since joining the London giants from La Liga side Real Madrid in 2013.
