According to reports, highly-rated Poland international Lukasz Bejger is flying to England ahead of completing his move to Premier League Manchester United this summer.
The youngster, who had a trial with the Old Trafford club last season at Carrington, posted on his Instagram page that he was due to fly to Manchester, and it seems that reports from March, which claimed the youngster choose Man United over arch rivals Manchester City, do really bear fruits.
Berger is the captain at his age group for the national side and currently plays for Poznan. Standing at 6ft2″, the 16-year-old is already well physically developed, and despite being dubbed as the new “Sergio Ramos” in the centre-half role, the youngster can also be deployed at the right back.
It’s believed terms for the transfer have reportedly been agreed back in January and it seems the player will now join up with United’s U18 team for the new season; he will hope to be the first outfield player from Poland to play for the United first team.
