Multiple source confirm Arsenal star wants to stay and will Not force exit

Chelsea are on the brink of appointing former coach Joe Cole as the manager of the youth set-up, this report is according to Skysports.

The Blues have a very organised youth set-up, they are looking to make it a more productive venture that will churn out players that can ascend the grade and play in the first team of the Blues.

They are currently in talks with Cole, who called time on his footballing career earlier this year and has already obtained his UEFA A licence.

Cole had a seven year spell with Chelsea in which he was actively involved in their dominance. He scored 40 goals in 281 appearances, getting the Champions League runners-up medal, winning three EPL and two FA Cup titles.

He knows everything about the Chelsea ideology and would easily fit into the youth set-up of the side.

He left Chelsea for Liverpool and went on the player for several clubs before joining Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United States as his last club.

John Terry, Robert Huth and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, are the notable names that have come through the academy of Chelsea.
